Our matcha comes from Kagoshima, a mountainous region of Japan renowned for the excellence of its matcha. After harvesting, it is briefly steamed, naturally dried, then stone-ground into powder using the traditional Japanese method.
Ceremonial grade matcha is a superior grade specially cultivated, harvested, and stone-ground to be used in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies. It is produced from the youngest and most tender leaves.
